A great night was had by all at our Annual Awards Night held at St Augustine's Parish Centre, Darlington on 14th May 2010.
We were very fortunate that the Mayor of Darlington Councillor Jim Ruck and his wife Margaret attended and presented Registry of Guitar Tutors / London College of Music Examination Certificates to 9 students ~ see www.rgt.org
You can see a slideshow and videos of the event if you scroll down this screen.
In all, 31 students were involved in the performance plus 8 guest musicians and 2 Sound / Lighting engineers.
Some morning after feedback......
"Hi Simon, I just wanted to thank you and your family for all the thought and hard work you put into making last night such a success. We all had a wonderful time and were so impressed with all that we heard - what a brilliant opportunity for all the students, I'm sure it's a night they will always remember. Michaela said that she felt very proud of herself when she had appeared on stage, and that just means the world to me. Thankyou, Hilary Pallister"
"Hi Simon, Congratulations on last night, we really enjoyed it and it was great to see and hear such a wide variety of ages and styles, some real talent there. Cheers, Tony Graham"
